Specify each side separately

Provide the medium and composition, flow, inlet and outlet temperatures, operating pressure and allowable pressure drop for each side. Distinguish known values from items requiring design confirmation.

Materials and maintenance

Corrosion, fouling, particles, viscosity changes and cleaning methods affect the discussion. Include the installation location, available space and maintenance access so connections and service requirements can be reviewed.

Compare the same supply scope

Compare the main exchanger, supports, nozzles, mating connections, insulation, instrumentation and documentation on the same basis. Record included and excluded items in the technical discussion and supply list.

Prepare the data before the inquiry

Use the drying and heat-transfer guide to organize the two stream data sets, then send the process diagram or existing equipment information with the request. Models and specifications follow the actual duty.
