Begin with the process duty

Begin with composition, phases, viscosity and the required suspension, dispersion or gas-liquid contact duty. Compare drive arrangements within those process inputs.

The vessel-drive interface

Vessel dimensions, liquid-level range, internals and installation position affect the agitator arrangement. Magnetic-drive selection also requires review of torque, temperature, material compatibility and maintenance access.

Define the auxiliary systems

List heating and cooling, feed, gas handling, measurements and control interfaces during the proposal stage. Refer specific media and hazardous-area conditions to the project technical team for confirmation.

Information for the discussion

Prepare a vessel arrangement, material and operating data, process objectives and site constraints. Use the equipment guide as a discussion checklist; the agreed technical documents define the configuration.
